From download to your first GST invoice in 5 minutes.

A friendly, step-by-step walkthrough. No technical knowledge assumed — written for shopkeepers, not developers.

Phase 1 — Download & install

    Download Ganyat-Setup.exe

    Click the download button at the top of this page. The file is about 145 MB and saves to your Downloads folder.

    Run the installer

    Double-click Ganyat-Setup.exe. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info then Run anyway. Installation takes 1–2 minutes.

    Launch Ganyat

    Open the new Ganyat icon on your Desktop. The app connects to our secure cloud automatically — no extra setup.

Phase 2 — Register your shop

    Click ‘Register new shop’

    On the login screen, pick a Shop Code (e.g. rameshstore) — lowercase letters and numbers only. Enter your shop name, your name, email and a password.

    Log in for the first time

    Enter your Shop Code, select your user and password. Your free 14-day trial starts automatically.

Phase 3 — Set up your shop inside the app

    Add shop details

    Go to Settings → Shop Profile. Add your address, GSTIN (if registered), phone number and choose an invoice template. Turn on automatic cloud backups so your data is always safe.

    Add your products

    Go to Products → Add product. Enter name, optional barcode, purchase and selling price, current stock, and GST rate. Scan barcodes directly using a USB or Bluetooth scanner.

    Add customers and suppliers

    Go to Parties → Add party. Their ledger updates automatically as you bill them or buy from them.
  4. 4

    Create your first invoice

    Go to Invoices → New invoice. Pick the customer, add items, set quantity, choose payment mode and click Save & print. Share the PDF on WhatsApp from the same screen.

Phase 4 — Subscribe when ready

    When your trial ends

    You’ll see a subscription banner inside the app. Go to Settings → Subscription to upgrade in seconds.
  2. 2

    Choose a plan and pay

    Select Pro (₹499/month, ₹2,694 for 6 months, or ₹4,788 yearly) and pay via UPI, card or net banking. Your account activates instantly.
  3. 3

    Have a promo code?

    Enter it in the Promo Code field before paying — the discount is applied automatically.

Phase 5 — Add your team

    Create staff users

    Go to Settings → Users → Add user. Pick a role: Admin (full access), Manager (billing & inventory) or Staff (billing only).
  2. 2

    Enable 4-digit PIN login

    For shared counters, each user can set a 4-digit PIN for quick switching during a rush — no password needed.

Phase 6 — Troubleshooting

  1. 1

    App says ‘Cannot connect’

    Check your internet connection. Wait 30 seconds and try again. If it continues, write to support — we’ll help immediately.
  2. 2

    Subscription not active after payment

    Refresh the app after 60 seconds and check Settings → Subscription. If needed, share your Razorpay payment ID — we activate manually within 30 minutes.
